Nearly two decades of sector experience before the group was even formed.
Allied Energy Holding Pte Ltd was registered in Singapore in May 2007 by Simon Tan, who had been working in the battery storage industry since 1986 and the solar industry since 1990 — nearly two decades of sector experience before the group was formed.
The company started with a paid-up capital of US$3 million and set out to cover multiple business models within the renewable energy sector across different regions, principally through joint ventures. Over time it has also invested outside solar and energy into adjacent industrial and technology businesses.
